Best Tagging Practices
When providing the supporting metadata for your blog post, remember to follow these best practices for tags. This is to improve user navigation and consistency in our posts.
- Always use lowercase for tags, even for proper nouns
- Do not add Kubernetes to preface a separate tag. Keep
kubernetes separate as its own tag.
- Use acronyms for cloud providers and other known Kubernetes/cloud services over their longhand.
- Avoid using the plural of a term when the singular is acceptable (ie.
developer over developers)
Select from this list of approved tags if you need a starting point. Custom or new tags are allowed, as long as they follow the above best practices.
